Primary Health Care Corporation operates 26 health centers across Qatar, delivering community-based
primary care services to Qatar’s population. The primary health centers provide a wide range of
preventive, diagnostic and treatment healthcare services, including dental, antenatal care, immunization,
pharmacy, ophthalmology, audiology, radiology and wellness services.
Primary health centers should be the first point of contact for your child with non-emergency conditions
(those with emergency conditions should visit a HMC emergency department or call 999 for an
ambulance). If your primary care doctor determines that more specialist care is required, they will refer
your child to an HMC hospital.
